Claudia Fontes is an Argentinian visual artist based in England. She studied arts at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón in Buenos Aires and Art History at Buenos Aires University. She has been showing her work internationally since 1992. Her work could recently be seen in the Frieze Sculpture Park 2011 in London, and at The Wordly House, in Documenta 13, Kassel, 2012 and in the Argentinian Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale 2017. In parallel to her artistic practice, she has spearheaded the creation of several artists’ networks of cooperation, and has generated spaces for the development of critical thought, particularly in relation to artist-led culture. She is also one of the seven artists invited to curate an exhibition for the next Bienal de São Paulo – Affective Affinities.
Claire Tancons is currently one of the co-curators (with Zoe Butt and Omar Kholeif) for Sharjah Biennial 14: Leaving the Echo Chamber, slated to open in 2019. Over the last decade, she was the curator of established and emerging international biennials such as the Göteborg Biennial (2013), Biennale Bénin (2012), Cape Town Biennial (2009), Prospect.1 New Orleans (2008) and Gwangju Biennale (2008). Tancons frequently speaks at international art and academic forums and her writings have been published in Nka: Journal of Contemporary African Art, Small Axe, Third Text and e-flux.
Jörg Scheller is an art historian, journalist and musician. He studied art history, philosophy, media art and anglistics. He is lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) since 2012. In his research he focuses on physical culture with an emphasis on bodybuilding, exhibition history, popular culture and pop music (focus heavy metal). In 2013, he was the curator of the «Salon Suisse» at the 55th Venice Art Biennale, in 2015/16 he curated the exhibition «Building Modern Bodies. The Art of Bodybuilding» at the Kunsthalle Zurich. His essays and reviews appear regularly in, among others, Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Schweizer Monat, Camera Austria, frieze magazine.
Yasmin Afschar is a curator and writer based in Zurich. She is curator at Aargauer Kunsthaus in Aarau and curator of the independent discursive platform LE FOYER – IN PROCESS, a format, which travels to current places of the contemporary art scene to talk with artists and their guests about work processes and their latest research. For the next two years, she is member of art commission of the Federal Office of Culture.
Elise Lammer lives and works in Basel and Berlin. She was trained as a fine artist in Barcelona and holds an MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths College, London. She is curator at Kunstverein SALTS in Basel, as well as the host and founder of Kunsthalle Roveredo, an artists residency and exhibition space located in Graubünden, Switzerland. Between 2014 and 2016 she was responsible for the exhibitions at APRA, the Adrian Piper Research Archive in Berlin while preparing Piper’s ongoing retrospective at MoMA.
Robert Leckie is Curator and Head of Programmes at Gasworks in London, where he leads the exhibitions, residencies and public programmes. Focusing on new commissions, he has curated the first UK solo exhibitions by a wide range of international artists and many UK artists. He has written for Afterall and Benedictions, among other publications, and is currently co-editing and contributing to SECOND SEX WAR, a book on Sidsel Meineche Hansen’s recent work, alongside working on new commissions by Evan Ifekoya, James N. Kienitz Wilkins and Libita Clayton.
Danaé Panchaud is a curator and lecturer specialised in photography. Trained in photography, curating and museology in Switzerland and the UK, she is currently the director of the Photoforum Pasquart in Biel, an exhibition centre dedicated to Swiss and international emerging photography, as well as a lecturer at the photography school in Vevey (CEPV).

Verena Konrad is director of the vai Vorarlberger Architektur Institut, commissioner and curator of the Austrian contribution to the Architecture Biennale 2018 in Venice as well as assistant at the Institute for Architectural Theory and History of Building, Innsbruck. She has lectured at the University of Innsbruck (architectural theory, history of art), the University of Art and Design Linz (Space & Design Strategies) and Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (InterMedia). As a curator she worked at Galerie im Taxispalais and Kunsthalle Wien.
Charlotte Laubard will be the curator of the Swiss pavilion at the 58th Venice Art Biennale. She was director of CAPC, Musée d’art contemporain of Bordeaux until 2013, where she developed a multi-faceted programme. In 2006, she worked as a consultant for the Victor Pinchuk Foundation on the opening of its contemporary art centre in Kiev and she has also collaborated with numerous contemporary art galleries, festivals and institutions.
Céline Eidenbenz is director of the Valais Art Museum in Sion, Switzerland. She has been working as an assistant lecturer at the University of Geneva and Lausanne (2007-2012). There, she created an exhibition space for contemporary art, «Le Cabanon». In addition to her teaching activity at University of Geneva and Lausanne since 2007, she published articles in international journals and catalogues.
Véronique Bacchetta is director of the Centre d’édition contemporaine in Geneva from 1992 and occasionally independent curator. She has received the Federal Prize in Mediation of Art and Architecture in 2003 and the Meret Oppenheim Prize in 2007.
Simona Ciuccio has been a research associate and curator at the Kunst Museum Winterthur since 2009. She got her degree in Art History and Film Studies at Zürich University, after having spent a number of years in Italy, at the Archivio Mario e Marisa Merz and the Fondazione Merz in Turin and as a co-curator of the Afghan Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennial (2005).
Fanni Fetzer is director of the Kunstmuseum Luzern since 2011. After working as a member of the editorial team at the Swiss culture magazin Du from 1998 to 2004, she held a position as assistant curator and vice director from 2004 to 2006 at Kunstmuseum Thun and as director from 2006 to 2011 at Kunsthaus Langenthal.
Enrique Rivera is an independent curator and researcher. He founded and directed the Person Gallery in Santiago (2003) and began the video art archive of the Center for Documentation of the La Moneda Cultural Center in conjunction with Isabel García in 2004. He is the director of the Bienal de Artes Mediales de Chile (www.bvam.cl) and president of the Chilean Video and Electronic Arts Corporation, where he develops the research program and residencies of art and astronomy.

Julieta Aranda is both a contributor and editor of e-flux journal. In collaboration with Vidokle she has produced several e-flux art projects that explore unusual models for the circulation and distribution of art.
Molemo Moiloa was until May 2018 director of the Visual Arts Network South Africa. Before that, she was manager for Public Programmes and Development at the Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg, where she led a number of key projects. She has also been a lecturer in social anthropology at the University of the Witwatersrand, and worked in a freelance capacity on a wide range of creative initiatives.
Adam Jasper Smith was a lecturer in the Design, Architecture and Building department at the University of Technology Sydney from 2011-2014. He has given courses at the National Art School, Darlinghurst and at the Australian National University. Jasper is a regular contributor to Artforum and Cabinet Magazine. He is an editor of the Architectural Theory Review, and a guest editor of the Columbia University journal Future Anterior.
Marianne Burki is Head of Visual Arts, Pro Helvetia and as such since 2012 responsible for the Swiss Pavilion at the Art and the Architecture Biennale in Venice. Previously she worked as a freelance journalist for art section of „Der Bund“ and as scientific collaborator at the Paul Klee Foundation, Bern. She was director and curator of Kunsthaus Langenthal.

Glenn Phillips is Curator and Head of Modern & Contemporary Collections Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles. He is the co-curator of the exhibition “Harald Szeemann: Museum of Obsessions”, which will be shown at the Kunsthalle Bern, at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and at the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Rivoli in Turin. Prior to working at the Getty he was assistant curator for Special Projects at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Mariana Roquette Teixeira is a researcher at the Art History Institute (IHA-Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and a doctoral student in History of Art – Museology at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – UNL. In 2012, she was awarded a Doctoral Scholarship by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia for her PhD thesis, entitled Displaying History: The past in the present. Paris-New York 1908-1968 (1977) and Monte Verità 1870-1970 (1978).
Una Szeemann is an artist who lives and works in Zurich. Her work was presented nationally and internationally among others also at Manifesta 10 in Zurich (2016).
Claire Hoffmann is an art historian and curator. She worked at Kunsthaus Langenthal, Kunsthaus Zurich and Schaulager Basel, and is running the nomadic curatorial project deuxpiece. From 2019 she is appointed head of visual arts programming at the Centre culturel suisse in Paris.
Paul Bernard is curator at the Musée d’art contemporain de Genève (Mamco) since 2013. He is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. He previously worked at the Institut d’art contemporain de Villeurbanne, and taught at the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design de Genève.
Zhenya Chaika is curator of the artist-in-residence program and Manager of international partnerships of the 4th Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, Curator of the permanent biennial residence in the city of Satka.
Raffael Dörig is the director and curator of Kunsthaus Langenthal. He was curator at Medienkunstraum [plug.in], Basel (2006-2010), 2007-2011 co-founder, co-curator and board member of Shift – Festival of Electronic Arts, Basel, which includes crossover exhibitions, music, film and video, workshops, lectures and performances. In 2011 Raffael Dörig was curator at the House for Electronic Arts, Basel.
Boris Magrini is art historian, curator and scientific collaborator at HeK, Haus der elektronischen Künste Basel. He focuses on contemporary artistic practices in the intersection of arts, technology, science and society. He was curator at Duplex in Geneva,I Sotterranei dell’Arte in Monte Carasso and assistant curator at Kunsthalle Fribourg and Kunsthalle Zurich.
