Russia, yesterday and today: Podcasts from the «Days of Russian Literature»

Bringing together authors, translators, literary critics and scientists from Russia and Switzerland, the « top-class » event, as wrote the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, attracted a large audience. The discussions were highly engaged and knowledgeable and revolved around russian literature, civil society, manipulation attempts and independent positions, posing questions on memory and a culture of memory. Interesting footnote: The scene of the Days of Russian Literature were the very place Lenin used to read his newspapers, as a member of the «Museumsgesellschaft ».
