11 young talents, 5 days, 1 comic: a creative challenge for aspiring comics artists organised by Delémont’BD

For the first time, Delémont’BD organised a residency in the run-up to its comics festival. Young comic artists were invited to spend one week tackling the subject of monsters. A few miles outside the town of Delémont, in a tranquil natural environment, far from any distraction and under the professional guidance of Lika Nüssli and Tom Tirabosco, they set about creating their very own monstrosities. The resulting works can be viewed at the Delémont’BD comics festival from 9 to 11 June. How the young artists coped with the challenge was recorded by us during a visit at the residency venue «Ferme des Vies» in Develier.
