Switzerland, from Venice to the United States

The 57th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia came to an end on 26 November. During this last weekend, Pro Helvetia presented the fourth «Salon Suisse» of this season. This official collateral event of the Art Biennale is conceived each year in parallel to the exhibition of the Swiss Pavilion and is punctuated throughout the entire duration of the Biennale by meetings, debates and performances at the Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi.

Philipp Kaiser in the United States
The exhibition of the Swiss Pavilion «Women of Venice» by curator Philipp Kaiser, which presented the works of Carol Bove and Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler, has also drawn to a close, not without leaving an indelible imprint on the art world.
Allow yourself to be carried away once again by this vibrant tribute to Alberto Giacometti.
The conversation continues in Washington D.C., where Philipp Kaiser will be the guest – alongside American curator Katy Siegel – of «Curators in Conversation» at the Hirshhorn Museum. Both have represented their countries at the 57th Art Biennale this year.

At the same time, curator Philipp Kaiser will be presenting the exhibition «Territorial» at Art Basel Miami, in the «Public» section, from December 7 to 10, 2017.
