Under the label «Design Switzerland», Pro Helvetia is presenting a selection of seven studios at London designjunction, the flagship event for the design industry, taking place this year at the iconic central hub of the South Bank. The presentation of young Swiss talents on the international scene is part of Pro Helvetia’s new model for supporting design, which aims to facilitate access to the network of global industry players.
The stand-out feature of the projects presented by «Design Switzerland» at London’s designjunction is their diversity: costume drones dedicated to entertainment, a line of technical clothing for rugby, a collective exploring new paths between LED lighting and textiles or a residential project in Burkina Faso and Greenland, which involves local designers and craftspeople working together.
Design Switzerland: Connecting talents with the market
Pro Helvetia is launching «Design Switzerland» in September 2018 to promote the presence of Swiss delegations at international design events. The label offers designers visibility at major events and on a dedicated website. The exhibition at designjunction 2018 is the first to be held under this label.
