Organising the presence of independent Swiss studios at international platforms such as GDC or Gamescom is an essential part of Pro Helvetia’s support for interactive media. With their fo-cus on business meetings and matchmaking, international conventions lay the ground for most of the collaborations between game studios and publishers or investors. With the cancellation of all international events due to the pandemic, the studios miss opportunities to present their work to investors and publishers, while the latter also no longer have access to potential new games. The goal of the «SwissGames Matchbox» is to help connect creatives and industry pro-fessionals with two distinctive calls: «SwissGames Matchbox: Outreach Marketing» and «SwissGames Matchbox: Publisher Facilitation».

Calls for applications

«SwissGames Matchbox» offers up to 10 studios to be supported in marketing outreach and meetings with publishers, thanks to the support of specialized agencies. Through these agen-cies, the creatives get access to exclusive networks, are accompanied via a coaching process and prepared for the important business meetings.

«SwissGames Matchbox: Outreach Marketing»

«SwissGames Matchbox: Outreach Marketing» offers up to 5 studios to be supported in marketing outreach, thanks to the support of specialized agencies.

«SwissGames Matchbox: Publisher Facilitation»

«SwissGames Matchbox: Publisher Facilitation» offers studios the possibility to find a publisher, with the help of a specialized agency.
