La Belle Ouvrage and the CN D Centre national de la Danse have been offering the Édition spéciale choreography training programme since 2016. Designed as four week-long modules held between February and July, this programme enables a group of ten choreographers to work together, challenge their artistic practice, elevate their management skills and position themselves in this constantly evolving sector.

Édition spéciale offers a collective training space for choreographers, linking the artistic aspect of their work with questions around direction, professionalism and project management – questions that are often considered as separate activities.

One place is made available each year to a Swiss choreographer.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The programme is aimed at choreographers who have created and presented three projects and whose professional practice is based in Switzerland. A good knowledge of French is is a prerequisite for participation in the programme
