The Arts Council

Adapted management structure and Philippe Bischof stepping down at the end of June 2025

The Board of Trustees of Pro Helvetia has adjusted the structure of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Arts Council as of 1 November 2023. The personnel and organisational changes are made in connection with a private relationship that has arisen at executive committee level and serve to prevent any conflicts of interest. They complement all applicable principles of the Foundation’s operations. In the course of the elaboration of the new management structure, the present Director Philippe Bischof informed the Board on his wish to end his mandate as of 30 June 2025. The timing of the change of director at the end of June 2025 is justified in terms of content, as the financing and implementation of the new Cultural Message will be secured and the business can be handed over to his successor accordingly.
