Promotional Practise and Handling of Applications

The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia is demonstrating flexibility in its overall handling of grants for artistic projects impacted by the situation around the Covid-19 pandemic. However, Pro Helvetia’s handling of applications and support varies depending on the type of project and the date of realisation. If your project cannot be carried out within the planned scope, please contact the respective division.
Please also note, that Pro Helvetia expects incoming applications to adhere to COVID19 related public health and safety measures. Decision making will consider the likelihood of the project being realised under the Covid-19 related measures in force in the country or region concerned. For further questions, please contact the responsible division.

«Bridges to the Future»: Adjusted Funding Measures and Calls for Applications

The cultural sector is undergoing profound transformation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Pro Helvetia is therefore developing specific instruments to provide the best possible support for artists and cultural practitioners under the changed circumstances. The «Bridges to the Future» package of measures is being introduced in various disciplines in response to the pandemic. Pro Helvetia is also launching several calls for applications offering artists and cultural practitioners the opportunity to continue developing their ideas and formats and to create a basis for the future. Special emphasis is being given to new models of dissemination, visibility and networking.

Please see below for details on the measures adopted in the various disciplines.
