Guest performances of productions by performing arts companies and artists from Switzerland at nationally renowned venues and festivals outside Switzerland

Performing arts companies and artists from Switzerland. This support offer is aimed exclusively at companies and artists active in dance, theatre, music theatre, contemporary circus, street performances, and ‘Kleinkunst’.
Selection Criteria
- The venue pays an appropriate fee and covers the costs for authors’ rights, accommodation, and daily allowances.
- Remuneration of all participants in accordance with the recommendations of the Swiss professional associations (all working days, including travel days)
- Projects with sustainable travel behaviour, especially for long distances, will be prioritised.

Financial Contribution
- As a rule, the support is based on the travel and transport costs from the company’s headquarters.
- In the case of guest performances without travel costs (e.g. digital or hybrid productions), the funding may cover some of the realisation costs (e.g. for technology or adaptation).
- Independent companies and artists can additionally apply for a lump sum for distribution work, which amounts to between CHF 500 and CHF 2,000 per guest performance venue, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
- CO2 compensation can be covered by Pro Helvetia.
