Selection Criteria
- A recent new publication is available.
- The event venue has professional structures, a curated cultural programme and a cross-regional appeal.
In addition to these specific criteria, the apply.
Financial Contribution
- Proportion of fees (maximum of CHF 600 per person per reading day) and travel costs for authors, spoken-word artists, and translators from Switzerland
- Proportion of fees (maximum of CHF 300 per reading day) and travel costs for foreign translators accompanying the authors
- For digital and hybrid events, proportions of the implementation costs (e.g. for technology) are covered instead of travel costs.
- Maximum grant of CHF 5,000 per new publication
Content Of Application
- Project description (concept and set-up)
- Details of the individuals involved in the project (incl. CV of the author and translator)
- Date and venue of the event
- Budget and financial plan (incl. services of the event organisers and enquiries to other funding bodies)
- Information concerning the amount of the grant requested from Pro Helvetia and the justification of the need for it
