Selection Criteria
- Prior clarification about licensing is a prerequisite.
- The translator must have already completed a literary translation in the language combination.

Financial Contribution
- The support is based on the translation fee in line with standard national rates (place of residence of the translator).
- Maximum grant of CHF 600 per sample/CHF 800 per representative dossier
- The contribution to the representative dossier amounts to 1/3 of the translation fee.
- Maximum sample length: 10 pages of 1,800 characters each (including spaces) / Poetry: 5 poems

Format-specific Exclusion Criteria
- A maximum of two grants per year, per translator will be provided.
- Translations of anthologies are not supported.
- The contribution is linked to literary texts by natural persons.
