Argentina, Chile and other Latin American countries celebrate 200 years of independence in 2010. The perfect time for a special Chile-Argentina programme, conducted jointly by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

In order to create a sustainable network linking the cultural scenes of Switzerland with those of Argentina and Chile, Pro Helvetia aims to set up cooperation projects with local cultural practitioners and events organisers. The interdisciplinary programme is to include projects in the areas of music, theatre, photography, literature, visual art and cinema.
