Ménage – Culture and Politics in conversation
The programme «Ménage – Culture and Politics in Conversation» focused on the dialogue between culture and politics. The programme ran from 2009 to 2011 and was made up of three modules: the «Helvetia Park» travelling exhibition, debates and artistic interventions.
The exhibition created by the Musée d’Ethnographie Neuchâtel (MEN) traveled around different Swiss cities. Its concept was based on the metaphor of the fairground with all its popular attractions: a merry-go-round of recurring rituals, a ghost train haunted by scandals and a shooting gallery where the targets were figures from the cultural scene.
