Internship with focus on Pro Helvetia’s international collaboration (60-80%, 6 to 9 months)

The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia employs around 110 staff members in Switzerland and various regions around the world who are dedicated to promoting Swiss arts and culture.

Your tasks

  • Providing support in the preparation of Pro Helvetia’s calls for applications
  • Participating in the processing of applications (residencies, global research trips, etc) and the correspondence with applicants
  • Supporting the Sector in collecting information and preparing its dissemination via various communication channels
  • Collaborating in research tasks
  • Handling administrative work and assisting in the organisation of workshops and events
  • Planning and coordinating cross-sector topics

Your profile

  • University degree (ideally in one of the following fields: art and culture, (art) history, political science, cultural management, international relations or business administration) or comparable qualification and/or professional experience in a related subject area
  • Experience in organisational and/or administrative activities and an independent, reliable and structured manner of working
  • Interest in the contemporary arts scene in Switzerland, international affairs, and cultural policy related issues
  • Oral and written communication skills and good written command (C1 level) of German or French and of English. Sound knowledge of a second Swiss national language is an advantage.
