Alexandra Bachzetsis is a choreographer and visual artist, based in Zurich (CH). Her practice unfolds at the intersection of dance, performance, the visual arts and theater, generating a conflation of the spaces in which the body, as an artistic and critical apparatus, can manifest.

A woman wearing a black leotard is kneeling on a vibrant yellow background. She is arching her back dramatically, with her head thrown back and her arms extended forward, creating a dynamic and expressive pose. Her long hair cascades down her back, adding to the fluidity of the movement.

A person is lying on their back against a red backdrop with their legs resting on a set of red steps. They are wearing a black long-sleeve top and a plaid skirt. A magazine with a close-up of a woman's face is positioned over their face, blending seamlessly to create the illusion that the magazine's face is their own. The red color of the backdrop and steps creates a striking visual contrast with the person's outfit and the magazine.
