Beaver Dam Company is a contemporary dance company founded by choreographer Edouard Hue. His choreographic approach is best described by the concept of “sensitive virtuosity,” characterized by pure, precise movement that flows with dynamic agility while allowing strong emotions to surface. The company has also been collaborating with other companies for several years.

In 2019, Edouard Hue was honoured as an outstanding male dancer by the Federal Office of Culture.

A performer sits cross-legged on stage in a dark setting, wearing an intricate, wooden-like mask that resembles an abstract animal face. Multiple hands emerge from behind the performer, reaching upwards and creating a dramatic, almost surreal effect. The dark background and lighting focus attention on the mask and the expressive hands, adding to the mysterious and theatrical atmosphere.

A dancer is captured mid-performance in an outdoor setting, surrounded by ancient stone ruins. The dancer is wearing a light blue shirt and beige pants, and is striking a dynamic pose with one leg lifted and arms extended, creating a sense of motion and intensity. The historical backdrop and modern dance create a striking contrast, highlighting the fluidity and grace of the performance against the rigid, timeless stone structures.
