Daniel Hellmann is a dance and theatre artist, singer and performer from Zurich. With his alter ego Soya the Cow, he unites art and activism, fighting for climate justice, human rights and animal liberation, spiced up with a good dose of drag and presented in a refreshingly honest, yet polarising character. As Soya the Cow, Daniel Hellmann has created a diversity of artistic forms, ranging from theatre shows and art walks, to concerts, exhibitions and more.
He was awarded the 2015 June Johnson Dance Prize for Requiem for a piece of meat.
