To continuously improve the support for innovation and transformation in the Swiss cultural sector, we will be introducing several changes to our support measures as of 1 January 2026.
For institutions/organisations:
Event: culture in transition
The three measures aimed at supporting Swiss cultural institutions and organisations will be centralised on 1 January 2026 in a new measure called ‘Event: culture in transition’:
- Art+: thematic event
- Diversity: Event and/or work tool
- Environmental sustainability : Event and/or work tool
This means that applications which have not yet been finalised and definitively submitted must be submitted via the application portal by 31 December 2025, 23:59 at the latest. After this date, they can no longer be processed. Until that time, the deadlines and criteria for this support measure remain valid.
Our new support measure ‘Event: culture in transition’ is aimed at supporting innovative and sustainable events. Applications can be submitted throughout the year. Details about the new measure will be available on our website from 1 January 2026.
Workshop transformation process support
From 2026 onwards, our support for diversity processes in cultural organisations in Switzerland will be extended to all areas of transformation. The two-day workshop on 28 and 29 May 2026 in Berne will cover the basics needed to understand transformation processes. Applications can be submitted from 1 January 2026 onwards. Workshop attendance is a prerequisite for applying for longer-term funding in the context of process support, which will launch in 2027.
Details about the new measure will be available on our website from 1 January 2026.
