Once a year, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia awards creation grants to Swiss comics and graphic novel authors on the recommendation of a jury of experts. Seven projects were selected in 2025.
The comics creation grants are intended to support projects currently in development. In 2025, 33 projects were submitted: 13 from German-speaking and 20 from French-speaking Switzerland. Four of the submitted projects were in Italian. The seven projects selected by the jury reflect a talented scene, represented by emerging and established artists whose strong and original contributions contribute to the diversity of comics creation in Switzerland.
The following comics and graphic novel authors were awarded a creation grant in 2025:
