Within the framework of its Autumn 2023 Design Work Grants, Pro Helvetia has selected fourteen projects for concept development, prototype development, production or project extension funding
Here’s what the jury said about the Autumn 2023 edition:
“Although we are facing uncertain times in which less designers might be coming up with new ideas or risking their business, the jury really admires the ones that have been supported, with commitment and drive, taking the core of the mission with mindfulness towards the impact of design on the world. The experts were pleased to see responsible and transformative design solutions. There is a need for good creative solutions and innovative proposals have a good chance to be funded. Therefore, the jury wants to encourage young creatives to do the hard work of putting a high-quality application together, in terms of content, visuals, proof of concept and marketing strategies. The selected projects reflect design with intent and positive impact, tackling environmental and societal injustices.”
