Within the framework of its Spring Design Work Grants, Pro Helvetia has selected fourteen projects for concept development, prototype development, production or project extension funding
Pro Helvetia continues to support the vibrant design community in Switzerland by offering work grants that aim to foster innovation, creativity, and sustainable practices. These grants are designed to empower young Swiss-based designers and design teams, enabling them to develop their projects further, whether it’s through conceptual exploration, prototyping, production, or project expansion.
The 2024 Spring Design Work Grants reflect Pro Helvetia’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design in Switzerland, ensuring that the selected projects not only excel in creativity but also contribute positively to society and the environment.
Jury Statement 2024 Spring Design
“The jury has championed design-centered project proposals with purpose and quality of presentation, adhering to given criteria. We are in the midst of systemic changes, rethinking materials, design approach, and practices. Going forward, we seek to support and accelerate a strong leading force of designers with vision, grit, talent, and determination to bring forward innovative creative ideas that enhance our lives with a responsible approach and long-term strategies. As stakeholders in the future of Swiss design, we would like to provoke creative excellence and daring design.”
