Within the framework of its Spring Game Design Work Grants, Pro Helvetia has selected nine projects for pre-production and production
Pro Helvetia’s Game Design Work Grants support the development of innovative and high-quality projects within Switzerland’s growing digital landscape. The contributions are intended to support creatives in realising their projects in the field of game design. The initiative also aims to promote creativity, encourage the exploration of new technological territory and increase the international reach of Swiss game design.
Jury Statement 2024 Spring Game Design
‘The Swiss game ecosystem is fueled by a range of very diverse founders and developers with a rich educational background. In their games, they explore innovative takes on proven game mechanics. The basis for this is a steadily increasing level of professionalism, which also translates into better pitches and sound go-to-market strategies. One of the many strengths of the Swiss game ecosystem is how well the game developers are connected at a national and international level.’
