The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia has awarded 13 literary projects with a creation grant.
Pro Helvetia awards literary creation grants twice a year, in June and December. Contributions are awarded to individuals and collectives who have already published a literary work with a recognised publishing house, are actively involved in the Swiss literary scene, and live in Switzerland and/or have Swiss citizenship.
By 1 September 2025, 135 projects had been submitted to the jury for evaluation. The applications included 60 German-language, 39 French-language, 12 Italian-language, seven non-national-language and one Romansh-language project, as well as 16 children’s and young adult book projects.
On the recommendation of the jury, which assessed the applications anonymously, 13 projects have been selected for a creation grant.
