‘With COMPASS, our goal is to rediscover and revive old ties, as well as build new ones. We’re seeking out time and spaces where partnerships can flourish, artistic processes can be shared, and new paths can be explored together. While this might sound straightforward, it requires care, attention and trust—which is why the opportunity to shape and develop this space with the support of COMPASS is so valuable.

Through this, we aim to connect with people who share our values and create sustainable structures—ensuring the long-term future of Teresa Vittucci’s artistic practice and the association OH DEAR.’

‘With the support of COMPASS, we will, alongside Tristan Barani, Clémence Faravel, Lola Serre (Production and Distribution Managers – Bureau Ledou), and Mélinda Quadir-Mathieu (Administrative Manager), continue to explore ways of working that respond to the current economic, ecological, and socio-political challenges. In particular, we aim to strengthen existing partnerships and build new ones, both within Switzerland and internationally.

Ultimately, our goal is to establish the company as a permanent fixture in the cultural landscape, enhancing its visibility, stability, and influence, while deepening our understanding of what it means to be an independent, responsible, and sustainable organisation.’

‘We are eager to continue exploring ways of working that address ethical, ecological, human, and sensitivity concerns. We are taking the time to reflect on our practices, while also developing new means of reaching audiences.’

‘With COMPASS, I hope to use translation as a tool for further developing and sharing my performative and textual practice with different linguistic communities and audiences. I would like to connect my work with that of other international artists and engage in discussions about themes of shame, memory, laughter, and archives, which are central to my practice. Working in partnership with Artemisia Romano, I aim to build long-term partnerships with a network of theatres and programmers who prioritise ethical working conditions and the technical adaptation of my work to a range of contexts.’
