We are delighted to announce a Swiss Focus at this year’s Fierce Festival.
The festival for theatre, dance, performance art, music, installations and experiences at unusual or out-of-the-ordinary spaces, has established an international reputation as one of the UK’s most daring contemporary arts festivals. Fierce takes place in and around Birmingham every two years and seeks to amplify marginalised voices and stories and disrupts expectations of what art can be, who can make it and where it can happen.
Pro Helvetia supports five dynamic works from Swiss-based artists at the festival and hosts a delegation of Swiss artists and curators, fostering creative exchange and strengthening cultural ties between Switzerland and the UK.
