Aiming to provide the best-possible support for arts and culture practitioners, Pro Helvetia adjusts and finetunes its support measures each year. Here you will find an overview of changes applicable from 2024.
Research
Grant applications for artistic or theme-based research are no longer assessed by an external jury and may therefore be submitted on an ongoing basis.
More information: Artistic or thematic research
Development grants
The application deadline for development grants is now in autumn (application period: 1 July to 1 September) instead of spring.

COMPASS
With its COMPASS programme, Pro Helvetia helps aspiring young companies with initial guest performance experience gain a foothold in the international scene. Experienced professionals or institutions provide assistance in the planning of international tours, the strengthening of international connections and the development of operational structures. Application deadline: 1 March.
