Operatrici e operatori culturali dalla Svizzera di tutte le discipline artistiche sostenute da Pro Helvetia. Sono possibili candidature di persone singole o duo di artiste o artisti.

Criteri di selezione

  • Motivazioni in relazione al contesto scelto
  • Conoscenze sufficienti dell’inglese o delle lingue del luogo di destinazione
  • Tema di ricerca concreto con un impatto durevole

  • In aggiunta, i genitori di figli minorenni possono richiedere un aiuto finanziario massimo di 1000 CHF quale contributo ai costi di accudimento o alle spese per farsi accompagnare dai figli e da una persona che se ne prenda cura. Prima del viaggio di ricerca, i richiedenti devono presentare un preventivo di massima che includa tutti costi.

Criteri di esclusione specifici

Le operatrici e gli operatori culturali possono candidarsi contemporaneamente per una residenza sia nelle diverse regioni coperte dalle sedi nel mondo della Fondazione che a New York, purché le relative richieste sotto il profilo dei contenuti dimostrino un nesso convincente con le mete scelte. In questi casi occorre presentare delle domande distinte per ogni destinazione. Nel quadro di un bando di concorso verrà approvata al massimo una richiesta per persona.

TASSAROUTRabat, MoroccoThe Tassarout “third space” is situated at the heart of Rabat’s old Medina, within the Fondouk Ben Aicha—a former caravanserai repurposed in the 1950s for craftsmanship. Premesse generali

Introduzione

Pro Helvetia promuove la creazione artistica e culturale professionale contemporanea (escluso il cinema) della Svizzera nell’ottica di favorirne sia la varietà sia la notorietà sul piano nazionale e internazionale. Sostiene la creazione di nuove opere e produzioni artistiche, gli scambi tra le diverse regioni linguistiche della Svizzera, la loro diffusione all’estero e i scambi culturali internazionali. In veste di fondazione nazionale, Pro Helvetia finanzia unicamente progetti di rilevanza sovraregionale o internazionale e completa l’attività di promozione culturale di Cantoni e città.

Pro Helvetia accetta solo candidature complete e presentate nei tempi previsti.

Per poter beneficiare di un sussidio, i progetti devono:

  • presentare chiari riferimenti alla Svizzera
  • essere di rilevanza nazionale
  • usufruire in misura congrua di altri finanziamenti pubblici o privati
  • rispettare/garantire condizioni di lavoro eque

Legame con la Svizzera

Un legame con la Svizzera è dato in particolare se è soddisfatta una delle seguenti condizioni:

  • l’opera o il progetto è creato, sviluppato o realizzato da artiste e artisti e operatrici e operatori culturali che hanno la cittadinanza svizzera o di cui è accertato il domicilio stabile in Svizzera e partecipano regolarmente sul piano artistico a manifestazioni di rilievo in Svizzera.
  • l’opera o il progetto è creato, sviluppato o realizzato da gruppi indipendenti o da istituzioni culturali che hanno il loro luogo di creazione in Svizzera e operano regolarmente a livello pubblico in Svizzera.

Interesse nazionale

Un interesse nazionale è dato in particolare se è soddisfatta una delle seguenti condizioni

  • Artiste e artisti e operatrici e operatori culturali coinvolti nel progetto sono regolarmente in programmazione o presentati in altre regioni linguistiche della Svizzera o all’estero da istituzioni artistiche e culturali riconosciute sul piano sovraregionale, e il progetto in questione ha una risonanza sovraregionale.
  • Il potenziale artistico di un artista o una artista emergente è tale da lasciar presagire una carriera artistica nazionale o internazionale. 
  • Il progetto contribuisce in misura sostanziale allo sviluppo della creazione artistica e culturale nonché alla sua diffusione.
  • Il progetto assume un’importanza sostanziale per lo scambio tra le regioni linguistiche. 

Valutazione contenutistica e qualitativa

Nei limiti delle risorse a sua disposizione, Pro Helvetia sostiene prioritariamente i progetti che maggiormente rispondono ai criteri stabiliti. La Fondazione valuta se il progetto:

  • si distingue in termini di originalità, competenza specialistica e rilevanza sociale e contenutistica.
  • è realizzato in base a standard professionali
  • presenta un rapporto adeguato fra costi ed effetto auspicato
  • lascia presagire un effetto a lungo termine

La Fondazione considera inoltre importanti i seguenti aspetti:

  • Il progetto tiene adeguatamente in considerazione la diversità
  • Il progetto prevede forme di lavoro e di produzione sostenibili e un uso oculato delle risorse

Esclusioni

Pro Helvetia non concede sussidi se:

  • la stessa parte del progetto è sostenuta parallelamente da altri organi della Confederazione (Ufficio federale della cultura, Presenza Svizzera, Fondo nazionale svizzero per la ricerca scientifica, Direzione dello sviluppo e della cooperazione, ecc.)
  • il progetto rientra in un percorso scolastico o universitario oppure in una formazione di base o continua (fra cui tesi di dottorato, progetti di diploma, borse universitarie, ecc.)
  • il contributo è destinato a infrastrutture, attrezzature o alle spese di esercizio di istituzioni culturali, archivi, collezioni
  • il progetto non necessita di un sostegno finanziario da parte di Pro Helvetia.
