For the fourth edition of She Got Game, Pro Helvetia’s mentorship programme supporting female game developers working in the international interactive media sector, 13 game developers have been selected.

Launched in 2022, She Got Game was created to break down barriers to access, qualification, networking and visibility for emerging professionals in the game industry who are underrepresented due to their gender. The programme offers one-on-one mentoring with established experts (see info box), online lectures, peer-to-peer exchange formats, opportunities to showcase work internationally and a financial stipend. Its multifaceted structure supports the development of entrepreneurial and professional competencies while enabling participants to achieve concrete project goals.

Since the beginning, the programme has supported numerous developers in advancing their careers and expanding their international reach. Selected participants have presented their work at major industry events such as Gamescom 2024, Africa Games Week 2024 and EVA – Exposición de Videojuegos Argentina in Buenos Aires in 2025. These platforms have enabled them to connect with international industry professionals, gain visibility for their projects and strengthen their networks across borders. With this additional support, She Got Game continues to foster meaningful global connections within the gaming industry.

The fourth edition features the following gaming industry professionals and their projects from Switzerland and the regions covered by Pro Helvetia’s liaison offices.

Echoes is a video game that draws players into a sensory experience where environments gradually disintegrate in visual layers, ultimately giving way to void. With space and elements acting as decoys, much like a mirage, players are forced to rely on senses other than sight, navigating through sound and touch. Based on game mechanics designed for visually impaired individuals, Echoes questions the dominant role of vision as the primary means of orientation.

Naomi Blidariu is a designer passionate about new forms of video game interaction. She specialises in designing speculative interactive installations as well as accessible game design.
